Early morning, wakeup with the sound of waterfalls, tree roots on the back is my 1st experience.
Lek Go come over to our camp and want us to have a quick and full breakfast and he is going to bring us to hike in short while.
Without wasting anytime, we have our breakfast by eating 'roti telur' and yesterday left over (luckily no one diarrhea after that! haha...).

When everything is set to go, we starts the hiking. Lek Go warn us that there will be alot of leeches. Omg.....so scary!
All of us is in hyperactive mode after one night sleep and the yummy breakfast.
We change back to yesterday wet cloth since Lek Go told us that we are going to get wet.
After 1 hour of hiking, finally we reach to the top most waterfalls.

After all of us had tried the beginer slide, Lek Go wanted to bring us to the advance slide!
We was doubt when we reach to the spot...coz the current is too fast!
After Lek Go show us his stunt, without second thought, I wanted to try it too!
When i finally swim and climb to the start point. Lek Go and another guide turn over to the sky and said :" Better be fast, the mountain torrents is coming!"
I look at them and ask...Then should i still continue?????? so dangerous man...
Without any comfort words from the tour guide, i have to slide down!

Luckily Lek Go saw that and he swim over to give me a hand.
Lek Go urge us to go back to our camp coz of the moutain torrents.
We was having difficulty on our way back coz the water level went up.

Our nice guide, Lek Go, have bring us some fruits from his house. Sweet papaya, lohkong (hope i got this right). According to him, all this fruits are from highland. It's so lucky for still can taste on these fruits due to the off seasons. Since BBQ is our dinner, another task will be building up the fire place. This fire place will be nice for the night cause our camp is build near to the waterfalls and It's very cold in the night!

Putrajaya Fireworks

Another support Year of Visit Malaysia '07 act.
Putrajaya Fireworks competition!
I have never ever sees Putrajaya got so many cars before! Jam here and there!
Compare to the Floria Putrajaya, This event is much more successful.
This event helps to promote Putrajaya to Malaysian. Before that no one want to go to Putrajaya!
I always like the environment in Putrajaya, especially the lake side. So relaxing till you don't evn realize that you are in KL.
Back to the fireworks, This event is due to the celebration of the independance of Malaysia for 50 years.
Several country participate in this competition such as Australia (the winner), Japan, Malaysia, Canada etc.

After asking 'Mr. Google' about Gunung Benom. This is what i get from him.
Gunung Benom is the 9th tallest mountain in west Malaysia. It's in Raub Pahang.
Thats all the info i could get from 'Mr. Google'.
It's make me wonder....where the hell am i going? it's a mystery place....
Me and my friends gather at 8am with our camp, sleeping beg, food, water, etc.
It's takes us about 2 hours to reach to the waiting spot.

While we were heading to the mountain, the rain drops starts falling....getting more and more heavy. So we have no others choice but to pull over to enjoy our wan tan mee lunch at road side ( actually it's a durian stall in durian season - go there at the wrong season...only got kulit durian!Confused).

April 23

Dear god...

Dear friends,
On 22/4/2007, Woo Wai Hoong had passed away. After months of fighting cancer, he is leaving us.
Dedicate this prayer to him. May he find peace in the arms of god.

On Death
Kahlil Gibran

You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.

In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour.
Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
